STATEMENT FROM THE EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

I take this opportunity to thank all our partners and stakeholders for the continued support towards the realization of our mission to empower rural communities. The Future Organization for Rural Development (FORD) is committed to transforming rural livelihoods through agro-industrialization, capacity building, and sustainable development.

We are proud to collaborate with esteemed organizations such as the Kingdom of Banten Nusantara, United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP), the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) and the Ministry of Health (Uganda). These partnerships have enabled us to implement impactful programs that address poverty, environmental conservation, and economic transformation.

In this regard, It is with great pride that I share the progress and objectives of our transformative initiatives—the Castor Project and the Green Energy and Agro-Economic Development Project (GEAEDP). These projects, implemented in partnership with key stakeholders, aim to modernize Uganda’s agricultural sector by equip ping rural farmers with high-quality seeds, advanced farming techniques, and robust infrastructure for oil extraction. By introducing resilient castor varieties and modern practices, we seek to enhance household incomes, improve rural liveli hoods, and drive significant economic growth. Additionally, we are com mitted to sustainability by integrating climate-resilient strategies, such as afforestation and renewable energy initiatives, ensuring these projects pro mote environmental conservation while advancing agro-industrial devel opment. At the heart of our mission is a commitment to transparency and account ability, recognizing that our success depends on collaboration with stake holders like you. I extend my deepest gratitude to our partners, donors, and supporters for their unwavering trust and contributions. Together, we are reducing poverty, increasing food security, and fostering meaningful eco nomic transformation for rural communities. Your continued support em powers us to push boundaries, ensuring a sustainable and prosperous

As we move forward, we call upon all stakeholders to continue supporting our initiatives. Together, we can build resilient rural communities and contribute to national and global development goals.
